I've used the Castrol Racing oils in my last and current bike and have never regretted it. Previous garages have thrown Mobil oil in my bikes, now the warranty is expired I service it myself and can confidently say that Castrol makes the engine sound so much nicer; it sounds happier when it revs up, gear changes (As said above) are smoother and everything about the engine just sounds like it's running well (even on my '99 GSX750F)
If you're doing a track day or just ride 100 and upward your bike will thank you for the castrol love.
NOTE! Castrol oils are pinkish red in colour, don't be alarmed and think it's 2-stroke oil, it's not ;)
I recommend this product!
I like:yummy oil that your bike will love you for, redline in peace :)
I don't like as much:a little on the pricey side

A fairly good net for a fiver!
As stated above it has plastic wrapped hooks with little rubber caps on the end of the hooks. Six hooks, three either side. The net is approx 12'' square. It can strap down fairly heavy loads and can just about keep a full faced helmet on the back of a GSX750F.
It's not the most stretchy of nets out there but it does the trick
I recommend this product!
I like:it's a net helps carry booze!, cheap!, increase your booze carrying capacity!
I don't like as much:not as stretchy as other nets out there

Having used a cheaper iron before I was stunned with how quickly this one heats up and how hot the tip gets! Melts solder on contact once tinned properly (I advise less experienced users to Google the process so they can tin the tip prior to use)
Haven't suffered from the handle heating up like the other reviewer.
The tips do wear out eventually but considering the hours of use it's not too bad. Halfords don't stock tips but I'm sure an electronics retailer or everyone's favourite auction site will carry them ;)
I recommend this product!
I like:heats up quickly, easy to use, gets hot hot hot
I don't like as much:no directions as to properly tin the soldering tip

This is an amazing little bottle of tricks!
First off, don't read the instructions or it wont work. Clean the inside of your visor and paper towel it dry then spray this on it, wipe it over with paper towel and then put a second lot on.
Job done! the last application lasted nearly two weeks! (and i ride at least an hour everyday to get to work and college!)
I recommend this product!
I like:easy to apply, lasts a long time when applyed properly

I have a Peugeot 307 and connected the stereo up but it keeps resetting after I have turned car off. Do I just need another cable?

You need to swap the red and yellow wires around and possibly supply an ignition switched live.

Yes but it will take forever (at least a good 12 hours I imagine depending on battery capacity)

Suitable for old Vespa?

The recommended gear box oil for my 1963 Vespa is SAE 30. Would this product be a suitable alternative?
Top 250 Contributor
Top 250 Contributor
SAE is an oil standard to do with viscosity (thickness

SAE 30 is a monograde oil. Basically it specifies that the oil will always be the same thickness when hot or col

10w40 is a muligrade oil and means it is SAE 10 when cold and SAE 40 when hot. An exaggerated example is to say it's like honey when cold and like vegetable oil when hot

on a classic Vespa I'd source the correct monograde SAE 30 oil from a motorcycle specialist

Motorcycle battery charging

Can I leave your Motorcycle Battery Charger connected to my battery whilst the battery remains connected to my bike thus enabling a continous charge when the bike is off the road for long periods of time

Normally that's fine with most maintenance chargers because the battery is essentially isolated by the ignition switch. If in doubt just disconnect the battery, leave it in place and just tape off the bike's battery leads before connecting the charger

Is it possible to leave the charger connected when starting the bike, as a booster?

Should be fine, most manufacturers don't recommend it as it can start drawing too much from the charger which makes it overheat and start popping fuses.

However, as long as you disconnect it IMMEDIATELY after starting it you should have no problems (it might void your warranty though)

How long will this charger take to charge a battery to full?

I'd like to know how long you have to leave this charger on ie over night or will 4 or 5 hours do? I have bought this charger and this is the the first time I have used it, there was not an instruction leaflet. The light is on the middle symbol which I assume is the "full" symbol but when I disconnect the battery it does not change. Im not even sure it is working! Any advice would be great, Thank you.

It's a maintainence charger, the idea is that you leave it on the battery whilst it's in storage I.E. Not being used so that the battery remains charged and thus healthly (over or under charging batteries will damage them).

To answer your question you'd probably have to charge it for 24hrs just to be sure. Ask in store about the notification lights

is this battery charger suitable for gel batteries

I'm no battery expert but it should be fine.

I believe that you can only charge a battery at 10% of it's max ampage which is usually around the 1.25amp mark

What is the internal diameter of the pipe

Bleed nipples come in different sizes. What sizes does this product support?
Top 250 Contributor
Top 250 Contributor
I've used this before and it fits over my 8mm bleed nipples with a little bit of a push. Generally I think it'll cover anything from 7mm up to maybe 10mm? But to be honest I've yet to see a motorcycle with anything other than 8mm bleed nipples.

Will this cargo net fit my 2007 Mitsubishi colt?

It's the 5 door model and has 4 anchor points. Thanks

Again, like the other asker, it's for a motorcycle. You know, the two wheeled things that are quite narrower than you're Colt. Look for a luggage strap, bungee cable or bungee spider instead

What are the GT Moto cargo net's approximate unstretched dimensions, and how many hooks does it have?

Best answer

Top 250 Contributor
6 Hooks, 3 either side. I haven't measured the size of it but it's approx 12''/30cm square give or take. It rolls up into a small enough size though.

It's not the most stretchy of nets I've bought but it does the job and at a fiver you can always get two of them to secure whatever cargo you're carrying :)
