mixing query

It states on instructions to pour directly into screenwash reservoir and top up with water, but I was wondering if I can use an empty bottle to pre mix and then pour as an when required into my car's reservoir?
I always pre-mix in a clean palstic container - something like a large plastic milk container is perfect as it has a wide top.

You can easily judge the ratios by adding the required amount of screen wash then top up with water. Any pre-mix can be kept in the container with the lid on in the boot of your car until you need it.
