Have been using this oil in my various bikes recently and I am pleased with it's value and overall performance. I run an old Honda 250 single which does not have an oil filter so have to change the oil religously every two months. Usually, the oil is quite dirty and fuel smelling. Since using the Halfords oil it still looks quite clean and more pleasent smelling.
My other bikes also seem to run well on this oil with noticeable quieter engine running on my large V twin cruiser.
The main + point is you get 5 litres for the price of similar oils where you only get 4 litres. My only - point is the labelling. It says it meets requirements of SL but I believe SL is not suitable for wet clutch M/C's? I reckon this might be an error? Would be great if Halfords can confirm.
Cheers
I recommend this product!
I like:5l for price of 4l from most other brands
I don't like as much:api sl grade? should not be suitable for m/c's?

motorcycle oil query

can you tell me if your own brand of semi synthetic 10w/40 oil is jaso-ma rated for wet clutches please?
I don't think it is as the labelling says API SL. SL grade I believe is not designed for M/C's
