fitted front and rear on a 130mm hardtail (Rockshox Tora's).
First impressions:
Good looking sturdy tire with a strong sidewall design. Open tread design looked better for muddy trails than the 2.1 Continental vapor i was running before. Not to heavy for a 2.3
Road:
Very smooth for a open tread design, with good rolling qualities even when running at circa 30psi.
Trail:
Good grip on all surfaces, becoming even better on wet dirt and forest mulch, would not clog or fill even when powering through deep mud. Not great over roots but slides predictably and without loss of control.
Hard-Trail:
Not tried them yet but expect good things due to the good all-surface grip and predictable handling.
Value:
For one of the cheaper tires in continentals range, This tire really punches above its weight both on and off road.
Overall:
A real contender for an all-mountain or Hard-trail tire that combines good grip and predictable handling, with medium weight and surprisingly good rolling qualities.

I recommend this product!
I like:fast, predictable, sturdy construction, amazing value
I don't like as much:not the lightest tire, less than perfect traction over roots and rock's

would these tyres be good for day 2 day road use?

I have these tires fitted to my bike and they roll very well on the road a even better on the trail. However, If road is your primary concern, there are better tires for you, notable the "double fighter" 2.1

would this fit 26" x 2.35"?

This tire will fit most 26" rims. And would definatly fit in place of a 26"x2.35" tire.
