The ImmobiTag is like a microchip for you bike so the Police will know the bike is yours.

Is it possible for it to be damaged by condensation and humidity. If I leave my bike in the rain, will the tag be ruined

No and no.
It's a sealed unit, the outside of which is plastic

Would it not be possible for the thief to simply remove the gadget?

Best answer
The tag jams itself into the seat post tube - takes a few good hard bangs on the seat to get it down and it will only go in one way, so it can't come out. The further you knock it down into the seat post tube the better - if you have a rod or pole narrow enough you can use that to force it even deeper down the tube..
Nothing's thief-proof though

Is there a Monthly fee to keep your details on the database

No fee at all. You don't even need to buy a tag.
The database is not Immobitag's alone - it's the National Mobile Property Register which the police have access to
